Luxembourg American Cemetery front gate

Due to major road construction in the vicinity (on interchange A1), access to Luxembourg American Cemetery will be modified from Friday October 4, 8:00 p.m. through Monday October 7, 6:00 a.m.

From September 20, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. through September 23, 2019, at 6:00 a.m., and from September 27, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Due to construction, the main road to the Luxembourg American Cemetery will be closed from Friday, Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. to Monday, Sept. 9 at 6 a.m. local time. The back entrance to the cemetery from Rue de Sandweiler to Val du Schied will remain open.

Due to renovation work on the Cambridge American Cemetery flagpole, the American flag will not be flown until the work is complete -- approximately 7-10 days.

Just in time for the 75th anniversary of the Allied landing on the beaches of Normandy that turned the tide of World War II in Europe, the Visitor Center at Normandy American Cemetery has re-opened.

Due to commemorations taking place at Brittany American Cemetery on June 6th 2019, please note that the road in front of the cemetery will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Staff at Normandy American Cemetery is actively involved in the preparations for the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings Ceremony of June 6.

Due to Memorial Day preparations, the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery operating hours will be impacted on Friday 24 May 2019. Access to the cemetery will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
