Remembering D-Day, 76 years later

On June 6, 1944, at 06:30 a.m., Allied forces landed on France’s Normandy coastline – forever changing the world as we know it. When the dust settled, U.S. forces suffered more than 6,000 casualties, with over 2,000 on Omaha Beach alone. Many of these heroes are now resting at Normandy American Cemetery.

The American Battle Monuments Commission has the distinct privilege of caring for and maintaining their graves, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that time will not dim the glory of their deeds.

Help us remember and honor them.
