Cambridge American Cemetery to Participate in Open Cambridge Weekends

This year Cambridge American Cemetery will again participate in Open Cambridge. As part of National Heritage Days, Open Cambridge is designed to offer special access to local venues, and provide an annual opportunity for people to discover the local history and heritage of their community.
As part of this event Cambridge American Cemetery will offer special tours on Saturday, September 11; Sunday, September 12; Saturday, September 18; and Sunday, September 19. 
While the cemetery is open to the public and admission is always free, staff wanted a way to connect this unique American World War II story with the local community on this special occasion. This year’s leading question will be: “What did the Americans bring to the table in WWII?”
Come to Cambridge American Cemetery and meet our staff at the flagpole.

Horticulture at a Memorial Site
- 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 
- 2 p.m. tp 3 p.m.

- 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Brief introduction talks are also given every hour, on the hour, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. These do not require any registration.
