Chief Warrant Officer, Third Class Wrobleski was a member of 218th Aviation Company, 10th Aviation Battalion, 17th Aviation Group. On May 21, 1967, he was a pilot of a Bell Iroquois Utility Helicopter (UH-1D) on an extraction mission in the A Shau Valley, South Vietnam. As the aircraft was making a strafing run, it was hit by heavy caliber machine gun fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
