For his leadership and valor, Master Sergeant Todaro was awarded the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation, the Republic of Korea War Service Medal, the European Theater of Operations Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
Notes

Master Sergeant Todaro was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a Light Weapons Infantry Leader with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy along the Kuryone River near Yongsan Village, North Korea on November 28, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
