Notes
Staff Sergeant Terry was a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 5th Special Forces Group. On January 29, 1966, he was a member of a reconnaissance team operating in An Lao Valley, Binh Dinh Province 12 miles west of Tam Quan, South Vietnam when the team came under fire. He was killed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
