Airman Third Class Seiders (Jack) was a member of the 176th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, 128th Fighter-Interceptor Wing stationed at Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin, an Air National Guard unit activated for the Korean War. He contracted poliomyelitis in June 1952, was treated at Brook Army Hospital at San Antonio, Texas and died December 31, 1952 at Wood Veterans Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
