Seaman Seagraves was a crew member of the Amphibious Assault Ship (Helicopter) USS TRIPOLI (LPH-10). On April 30, 1972, he fell overboard and drowned in the Gulf of Tonkin. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
