Notes
A 20 year old American man from Trenton, New Jersey serving as a Seaman First Class aboard the submarine "USS Bass" (SS-164) during World War II with two years service. On August 17, 1942 while submerged, a fire started in the after battery room and spread to the torpedo room killing 25 crew members from asphyxiation from poisonous gas. He was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
