Notes
Sergeant First Class Padgett was a member of the Command and Control Detachment, 5th Special Forces Group. On April 10, 1968, he was a passenger in a Sikorsky Choctaw Cargo Helicopter (CH34) flying from Da Nang to Kham Duc, South Vietnam, when the aircraft lost power, crashed and burned. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
