Notes
Corporal Ososki was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. In Korea, he was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy along the Hwapung-ni Corridor in South Korea on February 12, 1951. He died while a prisoner on June 30, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
