Notes
Major Moreland was a member of the Marine Composite Squadron 1, Marine Air Group 11, 1st Marine Air Wing. On January 16, 1968, he was flying in a Skyknight Electronic Surveillance Aircraft (EF10-B) near Da Nang, South Vietnam, when he was contact with the aircraft was lost. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
