Lance Corporal Loney was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On May 15, 1975, he was Killed by small arms fire on Koh Tang Island, Cambodia. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
