Sergeant First Class Lloyd was a member of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He developed Hemorrhagic fever and was taken to the 44th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital where he died on November 9, 1953.
