Senior Master Sergeant Littesy was a 70 year old American from Detroit, Michigan. He served 28 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1987. He distinguished himself in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster. After retirement he moved to Panama where he joined the Veterans of Foreign War, Post 3835 and became Commander for five years. He died on February 17, 2012 at Hospital National. He was cremated and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
