2nd Lt. Lisk was initially listed as missing in action. Following the war, his remains were recovered. He is buried as part of a group burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo. His name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at Florence American Cemetery.
