Gunner's Mate Third Class Levan was a gunner's mate aboard Pacific Coast Force 87 (Swiftboat), Pacific Coastal Force Division 105. On October 25, 1966, he patrolling a few miles offshore from Dai Lanh, Phu Yen Province, South Vietnam, when he fell overboard. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
