Notes
A 25 year old American man from Maysville, Kentucky serving on active duty as an Electrician's Mate Third Class aboard the submarine "USS Bass" (SS-164), during World War II with a year and a half service. On August 17, 1942 while submerged, a fire started in the after battery room and spread to the torpedo room killing 25 crew members from asphyxiation from poisonous gas. He was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
