Notes
Private First Class King was a member of the Command and Control Detachment, 5th Special Forces Group. On May 4, 1968, he was a rifleman on a combat reconnaissance team in Laos, when he encountered an enemy force which killed him. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
