Seaman Apprentice (E2) Johnson was a crew member of the fleet flagship USS ELDORADO (AGC-11). He was Killed in Action while engaged with the enemy in Korea on December 15, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
