Notes
Major Holland was a member of the 615th Tactical Fighter Squadron. On June 12, 1965, he was the pilot of a North American Super Sabre Fighter (F-100D) near Don Luan, Phuoc Long Province, South Vietnam. After making passes on a target, his aircraft was hit by hostile fire. He ejected and was killed by the enemy. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
