Chief Warrant Officer, Second Class Henn was a member of Battery F, 79th Artillery Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. On May 24, 1972, he was the aircraft commander of a Bell Cobra Attack Helicopter (AH-1G) participating in a medical evacuation 8 kilometers south of An Loc, South Vietnam. The aircraft was hit by ground fire, went into a spin, exploded and burst into flames. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
