Lance Corporal Hall was a member of Company E, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On May 15, 1975, he was declared missing while protecting his unit's perimeter during the final evacuation of Cambodia. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
