Staff Sergeant Graziosi was a member of the 71st Aviation Company, 14th Aviation Battalion, 16th Aviation Group, 23rd Infantry Division (Americal). On January 10, 1970, he was the door gunner of a Bell Iroquois Utility Helicopter (UH-1H) returning from Tien Phouc to its base at Chu Lai, South Vietnam. While en-route radio communication was lost and he was declared Missing in Action. His remains were recovered on June 7, 1994 and identified on July 24, 2006. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
