Notes

Sergeant First Class Goodwin was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 27, 1950. His remains were note recovered at the time and he was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. Through the work of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, the remains of Sgt. 1st Class Goodwin were accounted for in 2017. His name is permanently inscribed in the “Courts of the Missing” at the Honolulu Memorial.
