Boyce Getman, an American born on August 4, 1897 at Saratoga Springs , New York and his wife, Jessie, moved to Panama where he was employed as a plumber at Swinerton, Hedman and McClure Co. Mr. Getman was awarded the Roosevelt Medal for his work on the Panama Canal project. He died on June 28, 1943 and is buried at Corozal American Cemetery with his wife, Jessie.
