Archie W. French was a U. S. citizen born the the Canal Zone in 1908 and the son of Archer and Cecelia French. He was employed in the Canal Zone as electric welder in the Building Division. He died in 1977 while in San Diego and buried in Panama. He was survived by his wife and four sons, Archie W. French, Jr, John, Robert, and William as well as daughter, Zona D. Lang. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Temple, at Balboa. His remains were received from a mass grave of 82 remains from Scottish Rite Temple and buried at Corozal American Cemetery in May 2002.
