Notes
Major Fieszel was a member of the 333rd Tactical Fighter Squadron. On September 30, 1968, he was the pilot of a Republic Thunderchief (F105-F) on a mission 50 miles north of the Demilitarized Zone near Quang Khe, North Vietnam, when it was hit by ground fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
