Notes
Colonel Fallon was the Vice Commander of the 56th Special Operations Wing at Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand. On July 4, 1969, he was the pilot of a Douglas Attack Skyraider (A-1H) checking out enemy activity near Xiangkhoang at the edge of the Plain of Jars in Northern Laos. As he was diving to see the enemy, his aircraft was hit by hostile fire and he bailed out safely in the middle of Pathet Lao troops. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
