Initially listed as missing in action, nonrecoverable or unidentifiable, the remains of 2LT Evezich were recovered and identified. 2LT Evevich is interred at Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myer, VA. His name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.
