S. B. Ethridge was born in Georgia in 1850. He and his wife came to Panama in 1906 to conduct business. He was a non-Isthmus Canal Company employee living at Corozal, Canal Zone. He died on January 20, 1912 at the Ancon Hospital, cremated and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
