William P. Emmett was born in Ireland. He immigrated to the United States and became naturalized citizen. He moved to Panama in June, 1910 and was employed at Atlantic Division, Isthmus Canal Company. He lived at Cristobal for three years and three months. He died on September 10, 1913 and was buried the Ancon Cemetery. When the remains of others were re-interred at Corozal, his remains were misplaced. He is honored at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1981.
