Elias De Los Reyes was born in Cebu, Philippine Islands on August 30, 1891. He immigrated to the United States on April 28, 1920. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Musician First Class with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Anna May Kohlar on February 10, 1930 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He became a naturalized citizen in April 1935. Upon release from the Navy, he moved to Panama. He died on June 8, 1965 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
