Private First Class Joaquin De Cruz was an American born on August 23, 1905. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a Private First Class with Company E, 14th Infantry Regiment. He died while on active duty on December 3, 1937. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
