Henry C. Day was born in Maryland in 1874. He moved to Panama to work on the Panama Canal. He served in the Atlantic Division, Construction and Engineering, Isthmus Canal Company and lived at Cristobal, Canal Zone. He died on February 16, 1911 at the Colon Hospital. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
