Alph J. Dawson was born in Hicksville, Ohio on June 3, 1863. He moved to Panama on about 1909 to work for the Panama Railroad. He lived at the railroad station in Panama City. He died on October 16, 1917 at the Ancon Hospital and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
