Lee Roy Davis was born in Alabama on April 18, 1850. He moved to Panama to work as a laborer for the Isthmus Canal Company. He lived at Culebra, Canal Zone for 2 months. He died on January 31, 1905. He was buried at the Ancon Cemetery and was reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1915.
