Notes
Major Davis was a member of the Marine Composite Squadron 1, Marine Air Group 11, 1st Marine Air Wing. On March 18, 1966, he was a crew member of a Skyknight Electronic Surveillance Aircraft (EF10-B) in support of an airstrike 10 miles west of Thanh Hoa City, Than Hoa Province, North Vietnam, when his aircraft was hit by a surface to air missile and crashed. His remains were recovered on August 3, 1993 and identified on December 2, 1997. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
