Pinkney Albert Davies was born in Park County, Indiana on October 6, 1869. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on February 11, 1901 and served with Company G, 30th Infantry in Manila, Philippines. He was discharged from the Army on February 10, 1904 at Fort Reno, Oklahoma Territory and moved to Panama on May 24, 1906. He worked for the Isthmian Canal Commission. After he left the Commission he was reported missing From August 28, 1912 to August 20, 1913. He died on October 21, 1948 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
