Initially listed as missing in action, Staff Sergeant Daly's remains were later recovered and identified. His remains were returned to the U.S. for permanent interment at a private cemetery in Minnesota. SSGT Daly's name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial in Belgium.
