Gordon Haskell Cyr was born in East Millinocket, Maine on August 9, 1920. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served as a Staff Sergeant, 806th Air Police Squadron during the Korean War. After he retired from the Air Force, he remained in Panama. He died at the Gorgas Army Hospital on July 14, 1994 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
