Charles Crowe was born in Panama on June 2, 1880. He married Mary Crowe and they lived in San Francisco, Panama. He worked for the Panama Canal Company and became a naturalized citizen of the United States. After retirement he remained in the Canal Zone. He died on July 17, 1941 at the Gorgas Hospital in Ancon, Canal Zone and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
