Wilson H. Crook was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi on November 22, 1909. In 1929 he moved to the Canal Zone to work for the Panama Canal Company. There he married Phyllis H. Crook. He was appointed Director of Clubhouses on January 5, 1949. He was later appointed Director of Supply and Services. He died on June 9, 1957 at the Gorgas Hospital and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
