William Henry Critch was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 18, 1904. In 1923, he moved to Panama to work for the United Fruit Company. Later on he was employed to work as a US Army civilian in the Canal Zone. He died at the Gorgas Hospital on March 21, 1976 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
