John Vansalia Creque was an American born in the Virgin Islands in 1880 and living in North Gamboa, Balboa, Panama Canal. He married Doretha Creque and they had a son, Alfred Wallis Creque. John worked for the Panama Canal Company. Upon retirement he remained in Panama. He died on October 31, 1958 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery near his son, Alfred.
