Clyde V. Cox was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on February 26, 1908. He married Agnes Cox and they moved to Panama so that Clyde could work as a foreman in the Mechanical Division, Panama Canal Company. He died on May 4, 1946 at the Gorgas Hospital and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
