Emilia Cooper was born in Costa Rica on April 29, 1908. She immigrated to the Canal Zone in 1926 and married Alfred Cooper, a British National from Nicaragua. She died at the Gorgas Hospital on October 25, 1957 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
