Charles Patrick Conlan was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 17, 1880. In 1907, he moved to the Canal Zone where he met and married Blanca C. Conlan. He was employed as a Clerk for the Executive Office of the Panama Canal Company. He was awarded the Roosevelt Medal with Second Service Bar. After retirement on September 30,1942, he lived in Panama. He died on January 8, 1947 at the Gorgas Hospital, Ancon, Canal Zone and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery near his wife, Blanca.
