Notes
Alejo Colon was born in Puerto Rico in 1889. On July 13, 1918, he enlisted in the Army and was assigned to Company H, 374th Infantry, 94th Division, serving during World War I. He was honorably discharged on November 24, 1931 and moved to the Canal Zone. He died on May 13, 1935 and was buried at Corozal American Cemetery.
