Simon C. Cole was born in Virginia in 1858. He moved to Panama in 1907 and worked for the Central Division, Isthmus Canal Company and living at Empire for five years. He died on February 27, 1912 at the Ancon Hospital. He was cremated and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
